Rihanna announces her pregnancy during her performance
In the days preceding her performance, Rihanna teased that she might be bringing someone along for her performance at the Super Bowl this year. Little did we know, the singer actually used the event to announce her second pregnancy!
If you may recall, Rihanna previously welcomed her first child with ASAP Rocky in late 2022. The singer’s son is currently a few months old. Right now, there isn’t any specific details about his birth date as the singer has not revealed this information with the world.
ASAP Rocky cheers on his girlfriend
Just months later, Rihanna is now expecting her second child! It is unclear how far along the singer is but it is assumed that the singer is within her first trimester.
To cheer on his significant other, ASAP Rocky was within the audience, filming his girlfriend and made it very clear that he is proud of what she is doing.
Singer honors designer Virgil
For her first performance, Rihanna also honored the late fashion designer Virgil who died in 2022 after dealing with a rare cancerous disease. The singer wore one of his previous outfits in his memory.
Rihanna promotes her cosmetics line
During her halftime show, Rihanna also promoted her Fenty beauty kit while taking a quick break to top up her make-up. According to Pop Base, the searches for Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand increased by a total of 883 percent.

The singer’s brand has been doing relatively well and it seems that the singer just proved why her brand is the best as the singer has shown that she can remain flawless while performing.
Apart from her exciting comeback, fans evidently missed Rihanna as the singer pulled 118 million viewers to her halftime Super Bowl performance. That is 5 million more than the actual NFL game this weekend.
One sad fact fans need to make peace with now is the fact that they will not be getting that album anytime soon. However, we are waiting patiently to know what the gender if the baby is!
